Billy Bob's Book Review Corner

The first four posts on this site are just old shit I wrote on Facebook over the years. Since I rarely log into Facebook anymore, I thought it might be better to move this shit somewhere else, which also gives me some motivation for coming up with more crap since I have nothing better to do anyway. I mean, I guess I could go work at my stupid job, but who wants to do that?

I guess I’ll probably post my old review of the boring War On Drugs album from 2021, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, since my review is considerably more exciting than the album was. Rumor has it, The War On Drugs hasn’t released a new album in the last 5 years because they’re afraid to after I BURNED THEM SO HARD. The album was so bad I swore I’d never listen to music again, but joke’s on them, I never follow through with ANYTHING.

The fifth book review is about halfway done, because I am halfway through reading Anna Karenina, and I have to write my thoughts as I go or I’ll forget how MAD I keep getting at this book, even though I think it may be the best thing I have ever read. But I also am ANGRY ABOUT IT and I would like to CRUSH ANNA KARENINA’S SKULL WITH A ROCK. Review coming soon.

I also might (maybe) publish my review of the Wheel of Time, a series I have a love/hate (but like 90% hate) relationship with. This review was presented originally in the form of four chapters of satirical fan fiction, which I am extremely embarrassed to have written. What you have to understand though is that I only read the books in the first place because 1. I had started reading them in the 90s when there were only 8 books out and never got around to finishing them, and 2. I got laid off my job for 3 months circa 2019 and had NOTHING TO DO. If these are not your circumstances, I DO NOT RECOMMEND READING WHEEL OF TIME FOR ANY REASON. You’ve been warned.

Anyway, I posted my chapters to a popular WOT forum claiming they were the script for the Amazon TV show that hadn’t come out yet, and the joyless idiots on there accused ME, BILLY BOB, of “trolling” their discussion forum. THE NERVE.
